Robert Gillette is the founder of Gillette Legal Services, a Seattle-based law firm providing commercial real estate counsel, independent workplace investigations, business advisory services, and mediation. He brings more than 15 years of legal experience and a distinctive background that spans both law firm practice and executive leadership.

Rob began his legal career representing employers in employment litigation and workers' compensation matters, first at Reeve Shima and later at Corr|Downs PLLC, where he handled complex employment disputes, business litigation, and trade secret cases. He went on to join Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP, one of the nation's largest law firms, where he rose to Partner and advised employers, businesses, and landlords on litigation, risk management, and pre-suit resolution strategies.

In 2024, Rob stepped away from law firm practice to serve as Chief Executive Officer of a multi-site early learning organization with over 250 employees and seven locations across the Puget Sound region. In that role, he held full P&L responsibility and directed operations, human resources, compliance, and finance. He negotiated commercial leases, implemented data-driven HR systems, managed labor relations, and led organizational transformation while maintaining financial stability. The experience deepened his understanding of the practical challenges business owners face—and sharpened his ability to deliver legal counsel that accounts for operational realities.

Rob returned to legal practice in late 2025 to launch Gillette Legal Services. His practice reflects his career: commercial real estate transactions and lease negotiations, independent workplace investigations for employers and boards, strategic business counsel, and mediation of employment, commercial, and real estate disputes.

Rob earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and his B.A. in English from Rice University. He has coached with Queen Anne Little League since 2017 and has served on its Board of Directors as Secretary since 2024. He is based in Seattle.
